erie pa reassessment home value
The county most recently did a reassessment in 2000. The Millcreek Township School District has appealed assessments in area where they thought properties were undervalued. They won nearly every case. The Fairview Township School District automatically asks for the assessment to be looked at if the property is sold and purchased for more than 20 percent of it’s assessed value. It’s kept property values artificially low in Fairview.

condos in erie pa, erie county average home price, new home prices in erie county, erie pa lakefront property
This is real estate and since I’m a real estate agent in Erie, I can help you. Unless you buy a for sale by owner property, you have to go through a real estate agent. There is no fee for buyers as the seller pays the commission. And if you’re consider selling your property, please find a real estate agent. I don’t say this just because I’m an agent. It’s a complicated process that could cost you a bundle if you don’t know what you’re doing. That last thing you want to do if wind up in court because you messed something up. And almost 90 percent of people that TRY to sell their own house wind up contacting a real estate agent to sell their property anyway. The average price of a home in Erie County is about $110,000. history of griswold plaza erie pa, who is grizwold plaza named after
Grizwold Plaza is a small park area in front of the main Erie post office at Peach Street between 13th and 14th Streets. The Union Station, the train station, is to the South. I think the Grizwold family once owned the land. Matthew Griswold was a Congressman. Matthew and Marvin Griswold formed the Griswold Manufacturing Company in Erie, PA that produced cast iron cookware. Griswold Manufacturing operated from 1865 to 1957. Roger Griswold II founded the Erie Airport. The Griswold family even once owned what is now known as the Watson-Curtze Mansion.
I often see Griswold misspelled as Grizwold, Griswald and Grizwald.

I’d bet hard cash the person searching for the history of griswold plaza is a McDowell student. Every semester some of them have to do a “history of erie” scavenger hunt through downtown. I did it myself. Though I’m sure it helps them, keeping the answers to yourself would actually force these clowns to go downtown once in a while, rather than thinking the entire city is a large ghetto that they should be afraid to visit. And then claiming there’s nothing to do in this town. Mr. Hayden would be sure to thank you.
