Altho I have yet to read the Times article today, the info they handed out to their employees that I read is really quite promising for all involved--with an emphasis on the Erie County Community in which we serve & will continue to serve. No assumptions should be made by anyone here until all the facts are known. Personally, I don't want to disclose anything beyond what was stated in the newspaper or stated on the local news cause I trust management likely noted the main talking points which is what they wanted the public to know about. Anyway, we are still local. 232 W. 25th St in Erie, PA will remain our address for many, many yrs to come. We're just going to be even better than we are. What we gain from all this, will result in better care for all of our patients.

Saint Vincent, who happens to be my POE, will still be a ‘local hospital’.
