Erie YouTube of the Week: Winter Fishing

YouTube Video of the weekIt’s no secret that Erie has some incredible fishing spots that are available year-round, which reminds me, someday I have to go ice-fishing on the bay. Whether you’re after trout, perch or sheephead in the bay, there’s something for you.

The other thing to know is that Erie anglers take their sport very seriously. Take these guys for example – they don’t let a little thing Erie weather get in the way of their steelhead fishing. They brave the elements in search of the big one. I’ll give them credit – in that weather I’d probably be under a blanket by the fire.

What’s your favorite local fishing spot? Walnut Creek? Gravel Pits? Do tell.
