Presque Isle probably counts the same mom and kids that go to the beach every day of the summer. Or the guy who goes jogging there every day. My guess is that Presque Isle only has 500,000 unique visitors a year, if not less.

You really can’t compare the Presque Isle State Park attendance numbers to Yosemite National Park, Yellowstone, etc. The vast majority of the the visitors to those parks are “unique,” meaning they come once and only get counted once.
