The late time Chicago resident Dave was in his hometown of Erie, he left his wallet at the Cracker Barrel restaurant. Scott from Erie picked it up and left a note at the restaurant that he had it. He picked it up from Scott’s home a bit later. Dave sent him a thank you note and a $50 reward. Dave got the $50 check back along with a thank you note saying just pay it forward. The money was donated to the Best Friends Animal Society. I’d bet there aren’t a handful of cities in the World where this would happen but it just sounds typical of Erie and it’s people.
