In fact, by my count, there are only 7 true manufacturing companies listed out of the top 50.
Economists have long preached about the need for USA to have open borders and a truely free market. Even though Japan, China, Korea and most other countries do not. I am waiting for an economist to explain how an economy can exist and prosper when it does not make anything.
