Today, finally, is primary election day in Pennsylvania.

ERIEBLOGS VOTE 08The major races on the ballot today will be the presidential primary and the race for the Democratic nomination in the 3rd Congressional district. The winner of that race will face Phil English in the fall. We interviewed two of the candidates in this race, Mike Waltner and Kathy Dahlkemper.

Here’s some information to help you get out and vote today:

If you registered to vote by March 24th of this year and you are 18 years old as of today, you can vote. If you registered anytime in the past, you’re good to go. If this is your first time voting, you must show proof of identification. This can be your driver’s license or passport, or a current utility bill, paycheck or government check (more).

The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you are in line at 8:00 p.m., you’ll be allowed to vote.

Not sure where your polling place is? This online form will let you know where you have to go. The address you’ll need to enter is based on the address you used to regsiter to vote.
