Missing local teen found

We reported a few times about David Azicri, who dissapeared while March 5 waiting for the bus to take him to school at Villa Maria Academy.

The good news is that Azicri was found safe and sound in Philadelphia. And that’s when the story gets a little strange.

According to a story in the Erie Times-News, Azicri was found in Philly tutoring African immigrants and paying rent at a local boarding house by selling Avon products.

From the article:

On either side of David Azicri’s building were houses with boarded windows, and the neighborhood has a rough reputation. A Philadelphia private investigator told Nickie Azicri he hesitated to go to the neighborhood at all, she said.

“It’s a wonder he’s alive, considering where he was living,” she said.

Azicri’s parents drove to Philly and picked him up. He is now home with his family.
