They actually warehoused a huge amount of product inside. Product that was made in China. Product that it turned out was cheaper to send materials to china, make the furniture and then ship it back into the states boxed, and that included paying any import tariffs on, then to make it in the Erie plant. I am sure that the jobs lost and buildings being sold off have nothing to do with the tax deferment that Bush received to locate the plant in Erie ending. Hmmm I wonder what you could put into 1.5 million square feet. Maybe someone could put an arena into it or maybe another hotel. Maybe they could add another casino. Lots of ideas, I'm sure.

The Bush Plant is huge – 1.5 Million Square feet. They actually warehoused a huge amount of product inside. This usually happens because our blog-checking program can't reach one of the sites. When this happens, it panics and the names of the site get mismatched with the blog posts they represent.
Since we poll each site every hour, most times the problems fix themselves the next time our program runs. Today, the cause was actually a blog we checking was throwing a forbidden error so it was acting strange.
I took the blog out and things have been back to normal. If you ever see it being strange, you can let me know via our contact form.

Thanks to the people that let me know today some of the feeds and blogs in our “Recently Updated” area were wrong.

This usually happens because our blog-checking program can’t reach one of the sites. @everyone, thanks for your support and kind words. Mike and I greatly appreciate it.

@Kaleen, we’ve added the Bayhawks to the short list of Erie Sports teams (located in the right-hand column).

@everyone, thanks for your support and kind words. Had dinner at Theodore's Restaurant way out in Lake City, PA over the weekend.
Was good stuff! Cozy atmosphere, surprising amount of good seafood on the menu, pretty affordable. Comes recommended, check it out sometime if your looking to get out of the city!

We actually pulled it out of this fairly comprehensive "where to eat" guide put together by visiteriepa.com--nice free PDF with a ton of places to eat inside:

(I now reside in Florida - Thank God...No more snow to shovel) Please keep the format balanced and try not to get too heavy on the sports. (Can you tell I'm not a sports fan, lol)
One of the reasons I do not read GoErie.com is their insistence on having a registration and charging for past articles.
I Enjoyed Dennis' work and thought he did a great job. I hope his next endeavor goes well for him.
Thanks and I look forward to the next phase.
