Thank you to everyone who donated blood during last week’s Erie Blogs Week II at the Community Blood Bank. The unit of blood you donated can used to save 3 people’s lives.Thank you also to all the local blogs who wrote about the event and helped us spread the word.
Now the fun stuff – the contest winners.
First, the blog the referred the most donors. Cream Of Potato Soup takes the prize here. ErieBlogs also had a few referrals, but we didn’t think it was fair for us to win.
Second, the iPhone 3G goes to Emma of EriePressible. She was just lamenting yesterday that she is between cell plans and didn’t know kind of phone she wanted. Now, she won’t have to worry about it.
A final thank you to Dan, Brittany and all the nice folks at the Community Blood Bank. They are located at 2646 Peach Street in Erie and they’re open Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.. On Tuesdays, the blood bank is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

I can’t believe how much better the sound quality is on this phone as compared with my last cellphone.
