Apparently now since that woman video taped her baby dancing to Prince. Just about anything coming from Erie, PA that has any music with it is taboo.
I uploaded 2 small clips to Youtube from the (Erie band) Dirty Looks tonight, from their show at the Warner. It is immediately banned… Here is a screen shot.

Hey, Thanks for that info on the Gannon/Mercyhurst College football game Saturday! I’ll be going to pick up tix on Wednesday! Can’t wait. We can sometimes here the roar of the crowd from our house when it is a good matchup!!
re- the slowdown and Erie…how many of your readers are being layed off or are seeing examples of the trickle down of the financial mess currently??? just wondering. I know I see less people dining out. much less groceries in carts at check out lines. what few people are at the mall are not carrying bags of merchandise either! many more pedestrians, scooters, motorcycles, etc. The little restaurant in our neighborhood is all ready feeling the slowdown. The owner is wondering how long they can survive if things get really tight! Tragic. IMHO.
I like the new site – Living in Florida, but lived in Erie for most of 41 years – I think you guys do a great job. Please don't get to crazy with the ads.
Congrats on all your hard work.
Well, Down down has died a thousand deaths – I guess it is going to die again – Narrowing the street is going to again kill the small bit of growth it was seen – How much sidewalk do you really need. Donwtown Erie is NOT New York City!

We went to a local (non-chain) restaurant for lunch today and had to check first if they were open as there were so few cars in the car park. They were open. They believed that people were having to cut back on things, and an early victim was eating out at lunchtime. If they have as little business other days as they had today at lunchtime I don't think they'll be opening for lunch much longer – it can't be covering costs.
