We like to highlight businesses around our fair city that really get the new world of advertising. One of the best (and cheapest) ways to get the word out about your business is putting a quick video on YouTube. Enormis Mobile Specialities gets it – they’ve got over 60 videos on YouTube. Some videos talk about sales and other promotions, but they also have tech tips where they give out good information free. Here’s a tech tip.
Mike is the editor of ErieBlogs.com since its creation in 2003. In addition to managing this site, he works at John Carroll University, is a technology fellow at the National Institute of Technology in Liberal Education and has a blog (yes, a different blog) at HighEdWebTech.com.
In my opinion, telling me to take my product to a professional and “pay a few extra dollars” isn't really a 'tech tip' nor is it 'good information free'. More like “duh”
You are incorrect little_cee. #1 Do you really expect this guy who makes his living installing electronics to outright tell people how to make their sat radio sound better ? #2 Alot of consumers just do NOT get it. They go to their neighbor ar local Circuit City get a bad deal and don't even know they should have gone to a Custom Audio or ENORMIS Mobile specialties. So Maybe for you it's “duh” but for a lot of people, THEY are clueless and this information is helpful. #3 Finally, did ya hear him talk about the guy who wanted to remove his sat radio cause it sounded bad ??? THAT Guy DID NOT KNOW enough to TAKE it to a SPECIALTY retailer. So I think this is a “tip”.
