Anyone know how to get your phone number removed from political call lists? It been a little crazy the amount of times they have called the last few days. Would like to get my name/number removed for the future…

They fall in the exempt category on the do not call lists – I think you have to call the PA Attorney General or start with your state representative and they can tell you who to call – For Erie it is John Hornaman – http://www.pahouse.com/hornaman/

I lived in Erie for 41 years and moved to Florida in 08 – Down here you can buy beer and wine in every Walgreens, CVS, Target, Wal-Mart, Gas Station, 7-11, and more!

For the hard stuff you have to go to a seperate store, like ABC Liquors or many Walgreens have liquor stores as a separate entrance.

I remember about ten years ago there was a rumor that they were going to break the monopoly of the state stores in Erie, so every new drug store that was built put in rows and rows of coolers.

When this didn't happen, they re-evaluated the consumer base and closed most of them. There is too much money in the taxes so PA is never going to get rid of the state stores without on hell of a fight.
