Today is Veterans Day. From the President of the United States:
On Veterans Day, we remember those who have served in previous wars, those who are serving today, and those who did not live to become veterans. Our Nation is blessed by these brave defenders, and we owe a debt of gratitude to all those who have worn America’s uniform with pride. I urge all Americans to take time thank those who sacrificed so that we can enjoy the blessings of freedom.
There are more than 25 million veterans living today. Take the time to say thanks for their sacrifice to our country. WICU has a list of area events being held for Veterans Day.
