Welcome to our newest Friday feature – our blog post of the week. Each week, we’ll sort through all the blog entries posted by Erie bloggers.

Our first post of the week is by Kim Fabrizio at Sunshine and Moonlight. Her blog has been an amazing chronicle of her journey with multiple sclerosis and the challenges and successes she has faced.

Her post this week entitled “I want my old brain back” was just another in a long line of compelling blogging that she’s doing.

That was extremely hard to write: I want my old brain back. It sounds so selfish, so self-centered, and so whiney. Notice that I didn’t write that I want my old life back. I don’t. I love my life. I love my new life. I’m still cognizant enough to know that my life today is merely made up of the collective experiences of the past.
