Blog Post of the Week: A Spattering

Local artist and blogger Toni Kelly posts beautiful artwork on her blog regularly, and this week was no exception. In addition to sketches, she also does amazing work in water colors and calligraphy.

This week, she posted a sketch of a hen she saw at a county fair this summer. She writes:

Now that I’m going through my photos I took at the county fair I’m thinking I should have written their breed down. This one I thought was sharp with its rusty red feathers and black baring on the tips. Yes you will have to take my word for it. He/she had big eyes that looked right through you.
