It’s almost game time

200px-super_bowl_xliii_logoWe’re two days away from Super Bowl XLIII pitting the Arizona Cardinals against the Pittsburgh Steelers. We can practically taste the wings and beer.

The game starts Sunday at 6 p.m. from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida. WICU will broadcast the game locally. Bruce Springsteen will perform at halftime. Expect “Born in the USA.”

We know who one famous guy is rooting for.

He’s not just campaigning or trying to win favor – he’s a true fan. Here’s a bit from this article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

“I have to say, you know, I wish the Cardinals the best,” President Barack Obama told reporters in the Oval Office. “But I am a longtime Steelers fan.”

Do people really care what team obimbo want to win the super bowl?

Is this really news we need to know?

    Bah!

I tried to tune in this supposed HD signal from WICU last night and yet again they seem to have dropped the ball. I can pick up 66 and 24's signals clear as a bell but there is nothing for 12 and 35. Or 35.3 for that matter. Lilly Broadcasting seems more unprepared for the switch to digital than a 98 year old farmer in Iowa.
