As always, click for a larger version.

Long-time Steeler broadcaster and all around awesome Pittsburgher Myron Cope created the Terrible Towel in the 70′s and didn’t ever really profit from it. He gave all the proceeds from sales of the official towel to the Allegheny Valley School, a school for mentally challenged students. Cope’s youngest son, Daniel, was born with severe autism and has spent most of his life at the school. Since its creation, it’s raised $2 million for the school. Next time you’re waving it, know you’re not only supporting your team, you’re helping a place that’s doing great things for kids and adults.

If you have a topic idea for a doodle, post a comment and we’ll send them all to Chris. Be sure to check out Chris’ past doodles of the week.
