I was saddened when I heard the news of John's passing this afternoon. How ironic that I first heard it on the radio. I find it amazing that the principles and skills he used in his career all these years have lead to the discoveries which one day will kill cancer cells in humans. He had a purpose here and his work was done. I would loved to have met him. My deepest sympathy to all touched.
