When I was a teenager, I’d go to World of Music on W. 26th Street all the time. Mostly to drool at the expensive guitars, though occasionally I would buy some strings or picks. This past weekend, I took my kids to World of Music. They’re both getting into music now – they love The [...]

Warm temperatures are nice for people, bad for streams and other tributaries that collect run off. Some areas are also getting ice jams, which are making things worse. If you live near of these streams, especially in low-lying areas, good luck and be safe. The man found Sunday in Millcreek has been identified by Erie [...]

During a visit to the Erie Art Museum, did you notice the retired cigarette vending machine near the reception desk? It’s an Art-o-Mat, one of only 82 active machines in various locations across the country that have been converted to vend art. A break in the weather not only means a chance to get outside and get out of the house, it’s also the perfect time for potholes. There are some, such as the ones in the Target parking lot, that we think could eat a car (or at least a small crossover vehicle.) Chris Schroeder sums [...]

We’re ready for spring, and summer – who wants to take us on a boat?. Unfortunately, the warm temps messed with a lot of outdoor [...]
