And at the beginning of April, Arlen Specter said that he would never become a Democrat. So it's just possible that Specter's words about Thad Cochran are not true.<br><br>And if he did say it, it could just be that he prefers hurricanes to snow. Or perhaps he just doesn't like our (lack of) direct flights into our town. <br><br>Or perhaps he didn't relish the thought of coming to Erie to campaign for a Senator who was never more than half a Republican. But don't assume NFG lowered the rates voluntarilly.
