Whose idea was it to cover the road leading from the parking lot
with those large white stones. They could have saved some money there.
They not only detract from the natural appearance of the area, but are very difficult to walk on.

I Agree! I cannot imagine what money was spent at the bluffs either. Regardless, I don't see any problem with leaving it wild, like it should be.

Did Erie Bluffs SP ever really open? Exactly what maintenance was performed
there that will be eliminated? A visitor needed a lot of luck to just find the entrance
to the “Park”.

Erie Bluffs, in west county, is maintained by the staff at Presque Isle. I would imagine that with budget cuts they are having enough of a problem trying to maintain PI, which is the state's businest park, without having to worry about running out to west county. The PI brings in lots of money to the local economy…Erie Bluffs doesn't.
