Peace out and best of luck to Raychel Vendetti, whose last newscast at WSEE was yesterday. Credit goes to her and Ray Petelin and the Mornings Live team for not only putting out a great news product every morning, but embracing tools like Facebook to reach and connect with their audience. No other local news outlet was doing what they did and in the days of consolidation, probably won’t. Heck, WJET/Fox does zilch when it comes to social media. What’s up with that?

Erie is among the 41 counties that will be mapped.

The center was one of more than 1,000 locations across the country offering fitness activities as part of Older American Month. LECOM joined with UPMC for Life to bring the program to Erie.
