Fourth of July Events in and Around Erie 2009

Looking for something to do this Fourth of July holiday? We got you covered.

While we still miss Mercyhurst’s Old Fashioned Fourth of July event, the Boom on the Bay is turning into a pretty decent event with some nice fireworks. This year, the Brig Niagara will take part in the festivities with a cannon firing at the start of the fireworks program. Here’s a review of last year’s fireworks:

U.S. Air Force Band at Liberty Park @ 7:45 p.m.
Fireworks at Waldameer Park @ dusk
Boom on the Bay Fireworks @ 9:45 p.m.
Betts Park Firework in Warren @ 10 p.m.

    There are also Fireworks at CorryFest in Corry on Friday night, followed by a parade at 11:00am on Saturday.
