To meet the mission of The Erie Community Foundation, each quarter the board reviews grant applications and distributes unrestricted dollars to meet the nonprofits’ needs. The Boys & Girls Club of Erie hosted the Erie Community Foundation’s 2009 Human Services and Community Development grant reception on July 14th. Representatives from the organizations receiving grants were in attendence. Included in the $290,836 awarded is $20,000 granted to Erie Weed & Seed for neighborhood mini-grants.
