It would have made more sense to take a group of CEO's from many companies around the world to give them a tour of the convention center to show off what they could do for all these CEO's companies and to pitch a chance to host their conventions –

It would have been a 15 minute photo op – and a great way to showcase the facility – instead they wanted thousands of dollars to use the room for 15 minutes.

Inkedup, that's a really stupid idea. That building is going to lose enough taxpayer dollars over the course of its use, donating usage to a for-profit corporation hosting guests from all over the world who otherwise wouldn't visit here makes no sense.

Don't expect a tour of the convention center anytime soon.

they had a chance to do that with some execs from all over the world who were in Erie and instead of giving them the tour – they charged them for the use of the hall. It could have been the PR hit of the year and booked the place solid.
