Where can one eat out this Thanksgiving?

turkey-1Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate and be with family. I’m looking forward to nom-ing on some bird, but not everyone has an opportunity to be with family this week, for a variety of reasons – or they just don’t want to cook themselves, which is also totally cool.

We received a note from a reader this morning asking where one could get a meal out this Thanksgiving. I’m not sure, so I’m turning to you, people of Erie, to help me and this reader find a place to eat this Thanksgiving.

What’s open, what’s good, and so on. Thanks in advance for your help!

For those non-traditionalists, Imperial Buffet on Peach Street across from St. George Church is a good pick.

In the past, when friends have come to town, we’ve also made late night runs to Pano’s on W. 38th & Washington and Taki’s (although I would call ahead for Taki’s since they seem to be always changing their hours).
