SNL pokes fun at our fair city

Saturday Night Live poked fun of our fair city last night in this sketch about the PGA losing sponsors and attention following the Tiger Woods’ announcement he’ll sit out this year. The Erie bit is about 4 minutes 40 seconds into this clip.

Fair or foul?

I agree with SNL, the Erie Chamber is a joke

  2. justin T says:

I wonder how many people googled Erie last night. Thank SNL for the free publicity.

we’d be better off using a bottle of seltzer for Economic Development than Jake Rouch

  4. Jesse says:

I wonder if a writer is a former resident?

I’ll agree, any publicity is good publicity. SNL could have very easily picked any other mid-sized city to lampoon. At least this shows that they know that Erie exists.

  6. Chamber Pot says:

the letter Q is much more valuable to Erie than the Chamber. that’s for sure! You surely won’t see the letter Q out at the bars all of the time.

Erie Chamber = Attempting to drink Erie into an Economic Development haze.

  7. Levi says:

A LOT of people know Erie exists… Who cares, really?
