Go See: Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

I grew up in the 80s, which means I grew up on Nintendo games and crazy Saturday morning cartoons. I’m also a giant fan of Edgar Wright’s work on shows like Spaces and the movies Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, so I’ve been looking forward to this movie.

Here’s a trailer:

It’s sweet, full of fun video game bits and bobs and is a great story. One of my favorites of the summer. It’s at Tinseltown, but I’m not sure for how much longer. If it gets to the dollar theatre, go and check it out.

    Mike,

I was debating seeing it. And having grown up in the 80s too I am sure we share a similar mind set. Thanks for the review. With any luck I’ll go this weekend.

  2. LOVE this film even more than I anticipated — which was a LOT.

The soundtrack also happens to rock. :)
