Manufacturer & Business Association and Roar on the Shore Enlist Assistance of Erie Community to Build the Big Backyard

www.safeneterie.jpegThanks to the support of more than 50,000 motorcycle enthusiasts and the entire Erie community, the Manufacturer & Business Association (MBA) and Roar on the Shore raised $75,000 for SafeNet’s Big Backyard Children’s Garden, beneficiary of the 2010 bike rally. And now, with the continued assistance of the community, construction on the Big Backyard is set to begin.

On the weekends of November 6-7 and November 13-14 beginning at 8 a.m., volunteers will be onsite at the Big Backyard, located off East 9th between Holland and German streets inErie. Organizers are asking that anyone interested in donating an hour or more of their timebring a rake and shovel. A volunteer tent with food and beverages also will be provided.

To participate in this unique project, contact Pam Durst at 814/833-3200 or 800/815-2660.
