WSEE is the CBS station shown in the Caribbean on the Primetime24 satellite. The New York Times did a story on the station because WSEE has a separate taped weather forecast for the Caribbean. Satellite viewers don’t see the Erie forecast but they do see our local news. WSEE’s meteorologists do four daily weather reports that are shown on TV and also do call-ins for 11 radio stations. Here is their Caribbean forecast on their web site. This Erie PA blog gets readers from residents and vacationers in Jamaica, Guantanamo Bay naval station in Cuba, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Belize, Turks and Caicos, Costa Rica and Panama because of WSEE.
