Hurricane Katrina Victims’ Relief Concert
The City of Erie’s Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs has joined with the Erie-Western PA Port Authority to host a benefit concert for the victims of hurricane Katrina on Wednesday September 7, 6:30-9 pm at Liberty Park’s Pepsi Amphitheater.
Visitors will be asked to make a $5 donation per person upon entry to Liberty Park. All proceeds will be given to Erie’s local chapter of the American Red Cross.
Featured bands include Erie’s Key West Express at 6:30 pm and One World Tribe at 8 pm.
Gates will open at 5 pm. Shuttle service is available from the Intermodal Transportation Center beginning at 5:30 pm. Special thanks to EMTA for donating free shuttle service. Open lawn seating is available at Liberty Park. No alcoholic beverages will be permitted to be brought into the venue.
