The Fall Gay Pride March and Rally will take place today. Participants should meet at the Zone Dance Club at 12:30 pm with the march beginning at 1 pm. At 2 pm, a rally qill be held in Perry Square with speakers and other guests.
Oscar, the world premiere of the gangster comedy based on the motion picture of the same name, will be performed through October 30 at the North East High School auditorium. Adapted by Chris Bucci, performances will be held Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. Tickets are $8 adults, $6 students and seniors, group rates available. Starring Chris Bucci, Shannon Solo, Jackie Jircitano, Nick Iacobucci, Jimi Mehs and many others, this non-profit show will raise money for the Erie County Historical Society. Don’t miss your chance to see this “comedy of criminal proportions”.
The 18th annual Peek ‘n Peak Fall Fest will be held October 15 -16 and 22 - 23, 10 am to 5 pm daily. Admission and parking are free.
The United We Stand Theater Troupe’s fall production, From the Blues to the Bible, is a musical comedy written and directed by Cheryl Jong. The seven-performance show will run four consecutive weekends at the St Patrick’s Cauley Auditorium (215 East 4th Street) concluding on Friday 10/21. All performances are at 8 pm and tickets are $8 or $6 for students and seniors.

* Finneys Pumpkinville is located at 24999 Hwy 99, Cambridge Springs, PA 16403. They’re open every day. The place is HUGE. Corn maze, etc. Their old web site at finneyspumpkinville.com is down but see this site to get an idea.
* The haunted house in Fairview is Boo-recky’s Haunted House at Borecky’s Fruit Farm, which is on Kell Road, just off of Route 98, just east of Fairview High School. It runs Thursday-Saturday each week from 6 pm to Midnight. No pre-teens, it is actually scarry.
* Pumpkin Town USA at Mason Farms, 839 Peninsula Drive.
* The very popular Zoo Boo at the Erie Zoo.
* Halloween Hullabaloo, Halloween without the Boo at the Experience Erie Childrens Museum runs Oct 25-30.

When for Erie Otters defenseman Chris Campoli made the roster of the NY Islanders he asked number 14 because his father, Gino, wore 14 during his baseball career. Gino was a catcher with York, Ontario.
The Mercyhurst men’s hockey team received goals from seven different players in routing Brock 8-0 in an exhibition game Friday night before nearly 600 fans at the Ice Center. The Lakers will now rest for two weeks before opening their Atlantic Hockey Association (AHA) season with a pair of games against UConn Friday and saturday, October 28 and 29.
