1608 South Shore Dr, Erie PA
If you want to know what a $1.5 million home in Erie looks like, here it is. Dr and Mrs Willian Steinbrink recently sold this property on South Shore Drive. I think that John Dineen, the new CEO of GE Infrastructure-Rail, purchased the home.

Today is my favorite day of the year. I gain one hour of sleep. Remember to change set your clocks back.

Lori Rizzo recently joined the Pueblo, CO based St Mary-Corwin Medical Center as a nurse practitioner. Rizzo received a BSN from Duquesne University and a master’s degree in nursing with a focus as a family nurse practitioner from Gannon University in Erie, Pa.

Dr Gertrude A Barber National Institute, Erie PA
Celebrate the Halloween spirit at the 45th annual Holiday Festival and Spaghetti Dinner sponsored by the Dr Gertrude A Barber National Institute on Sunday, October 30th from 11-5. The kids will enjoy Halloween games and crafts, hay rides and trick-or-treating. There’s also fun for the whole family with bingo, a holiday craft show, games and raffles. Spaghetti dinner tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for children ages 3-12 and free for kids under age three. Parking is free and all facilities are handicap accessible.

The Erie Community Blood Bank and the Erie Otters have teamed up to host a Halloween Blood Drive on October 31 at the Tullio Arena. The blood drive will run from 10–3. No appointment is needed. To be a donor: You must be at least 17yrs old, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health and have photo ID. At the blood drive, all donors will be eligible to enter to win a 25 pack of tickets to an Otters game. Dress in costume and you will receive 2 entries to win. Quarterback Russ Harbaugh threw for 309 yards and three touchdowns to lead Wabash to a 27-21 win against Allegheny.
Brett Neller touched the ball just five times, but two resulted in scores including a 53 yard halfback option pass he threw to quarterback Mark Nicolet that broke open a close game as Hillsdale beat Mercyhurst (1-8) 40-21.
Kyle Witucki caught two touchdown passes from Justin Bouch and Edinboro (7-2) also scored on a blocked punt as the Fighting Scots beat Kutztown 33-7.

Junior Crystal Connors scored on the power-play just 55 seconds into overtime to lift Number 1 St Lawrence to a 3-2 win over No 8 Mercyhurst. The two teams are back in action today with the puck dropping at 1 pm at the Mercyhurst Ice Center.
