I'd be willing to be it's Mr. Nick (The Dick) Scott. Nick Scott is one of those special kinds of assholes, the ones that build decent looking hotels with cheap materials so they can sell them one day when they're profitable, and let the buyer deal with the repairs later on. He's also the special kind of asshole that parks in a handicapped zone of one of his own restaurants, while an old woman with a walker gets to walk through the slush and snow into the restaurant, and he does not even apologize when she complains to him.
Let me tell you a story that one of my high school teachers told me about his wife as well (they're one and the same apparently). This teacher was one of the kindest and honest teachers I've seen, so I have no reason to believe he was lying.
This guy went to one of Nick Scott's restaurants (the exact one escapes me) and sat down with his wife in a booth. When they ordered their drinks, he got a glass of milk. He took a drink of the milk and noticed it didn't taste very good, like it wasn't very fresh. He asked the waitress nicely if he could have another glass of milk, as his wasn't fresh. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, right?
Well, it would be if it's Nick Scott's restaurant!
Nick Scott's wife happened to be there when the waitress was going to dump the milk. Since my old teacher was near the counter, he heard the whole conversation. She demanded to know why she was going to dump the milk down the drain, and the waitress explained. So Nick Scott's wife comes over and wants to know what the problem is. My teacher explains that the milk wasn't fresh, and he just wanted another one.
Here's where it gets good, and a little weird. Mr. Scott's wifey TAKES A SWIG OF THE MILK, tells him it tastes fine to her, and puts it back on the table, and tells him he doesn't need another glass. That's when our hero got up, told the waitress he felt sorry for her having to work for such a horrible boss, and left. So basically because she wanted to save $0.50 or whatever it would have cost to fill that glass, they lost about $20.00 in business that day. Would you make your customer drink out of glass you just drank out of, IN FRONT OF THEM? Jeebus.
So yeah, I'm not a big fan of Nick Scott. He can go build somewhere else and stay there.

Last night before bed I was channel flipping and saw a scrolling text across the screen on one of the stations saying that Fort Lebouf was cancelling school today because of a water pipe break.

I have a feeling that Nick Scott is going to end up coming in and taking over that Family First Sports park that Gary Renaud tried to dump on the local YMCAs of Erie.
Scott owns just about everything else on upper peach street and summit, and he uses places such as Splash Lagoon to promote his restaurants and hotels and vice versa.
So it wouldn't suprise me if Scott works Family First into his empire up there.

Do any of you know Nick Scott's sons, Chris, and Nick jr? What are they like? In the article about Nick Scott that the Times had once time, it said that one of his sons runs the restaurant side of things, while the other son runs all the hotels.
