Erie PA News and Events for Wednesday February 8, 2006

I heard a funny joke about the demolition which I’ll cut down for the sake of brevity. It’s not politically correct and somewhat offensive. Remember, I’m just the messenger. It goes that to save money and get the job done completely, the demolition company will say the structure was rented to a Danish newspaper, the one that printed the Mohammed cartoons. They’ll just call and let Aljazeera know about it at 10:59 am and figure it will be down by 11:01 am.

Nice job by Bensur Creative Marketing Group of Erie to get them ink in a national trade publication. And kudos to Bensur for having an RSS feed for their press releases.

I think I'm going to go get photos of it, as well. Heck, I live right down the street...

I work right down the street (Near Perry Square) but my lunch hour doesn't fly with the demo time. I should've stayed home, I'm only about 8-10 blocks from that place.
