Wow, I wasn't aware that Damien Bradford is from Erie. I'm from Pittsburgh and was home when all of that happened in Ohio. It, obviously, was the biggest story on TV at home. Bradford has/had an apartment in Beaver County, but the news never made mention to Erie being is real home.
On a side note, I think it's great how I can read a lot of news/information on this site and then later that day or the next day it'll be on the local news or in the paper. It's great, to me atleast, that ErieBlogs.com is one step ahead of the local media.

I'm not sure if Bradford is from Erie or Monaca PA but the search warrant was for his place in Erie.

Regarding the ice carving photos, I want a shot luge too! Didn't know these were an option when I planned my wedding years ago. I missed out.

He had residence in Monaca but it was never clear on his hometown in most of the stories.
Agreed Bobbo. I usually stop here for news on Erie other than checking out that newspaper rag or the pisspoor tv station sites. Makes me thankful for the PG and Trib sites we have. One thing Pittsburgh doesnt lack is online news resources.

Take a look at this, Dennis. This lady worked in Erie years ago at WJET. She was damn good, which is why she left the Erie market. All the good ones leave, all the crappy ones stay.

Matt, her Scott Baker (WSEE) and Rebecca Hower(WJET) are all down here. In fact Rebecca came in #2 as the hottest weather person in the country. She's looking a little preggers these days.

Jennifer Antkowiak from KDKA-TV is incredible!
She is from Oil City, so she's very familiar with the region. It'll be sad to see her leave Pittsburgh as she is one of the top five most-popular on-air personalities in the 'burgh.
The good ones leave because Erie is a starting market. The folks start here and move on up. Trina Orlando (the new morning/noon anchor at JET) will move on up at some point, too. She's also from the region (Pittsburgh area).
