The second para. [March 19, 2006] popped up when I did a search. I am Ben Morgan's great, great granddaughter. Ben (the first American-born child of William & Susan Morgan) lived in the Erie, PA region until he was 37 yrs. old. Hearing about Michigan farmland being available, he and most of his family moved to the Battle Creek area to buy land and continue their dairy businesses. Many Morgan-bred Holsteins are still alive and well today. Thanks for even more insight into my past. What a blast!
