It always seems that the Wattsburg Erie County Fair has something lacking each year. When I was a kid, that fair was awesome. Now they charge for every little damn thing in the grandstand, the admission price is more than the Crawford County Fair (which is way bigger), and all of the acts they have suck.

They could do so much with the area they have, and they fail each year. No wonder they've got to be bailed out with a grant.

I saw on the news where Brad Fairfield's group ONLY reveiced $3.2 million. It isn's enough to resume construction and that they're looking for additional sources of funding. Hmmm, Dennis correct me if I'm wrong but don't serious real estate developers make sure they have the money all lined up before announcing their plans? At least that is what I think they should do. Oh well, seems like Brad is rapidly becoming Erie's own version of Herb Fiss. Promise them the moon and then....
