Perhaps your kids are attending a new school this Fall or they’ll be going to a new school in the middle of the school year. Better Homes and Gardens has a good article on solving kids’ biggest back-to-school problems. Anne-Marie Welsh of Erie is quoted in the story. She and her husband Tim Welsh coached their 10 year old daughter when they moved. They gave her tips on starting conversations and being positive, such as smiling more. Their child Alice made new friends quickly.

I'm not sure whether the folks at the Environmental Center had planned to show 'regular' movies all along but this is something I suggested back in May (showing of regular Hollywood films. See the penultimate paragraph at http://www.erieblogs.com/archives/2006/05/tom_ridge_envir.php .) Good for them in exploiting their resources.
