"Molly Brannigans announced they are opening a restaurant in Heritage Square in Mishawaka, Indiana. Mishawaka is a suburb of South Bend. Irish food for the Fighting Irish."
Mishawaka is my hometown! Though I do disagree that it's a 'burb of South Bend. Kenneth Jackson defined suburbia as residential areas where the residents, who are more affluent than their counterparts in cities, live in single-family homes they own and commute to work. I would not say this is what Mishawak is at all. Those who work in SB live in SB, though a few do commute mostly so that their kids can go to a better school system. Those that work in Mishawaka, typically live in Mishawaka.
Anyway, I'm happy to see an Erie restaurant going to my neck-of-the-woods, rather than a restaurant from my neck-of-the woods coming to Erie :)
