Erie PA News and Events for Monday September 17, 2007
A couple of juvenile delinquents smashed the windows of the state Wine and Spirits store in Perry Plaza between 1 and 2 am. Employees at the the Dunn Tire store next door, working late, heard the noise. They ran out of their store, caught the kids and held them until police arrived. They even video taped the incident. Good job guys. This incident was the 5th time in the past two months there were windows broken in an attempted break-in at the store. They might want to look into Plexiglass.

It's my understanding that talks are underway regarding a community college in Erie - in my opinion, it's a slam dunk, after all, it's not just that there isn't a community college in Erie; there's not one north of Butler!
