GE To Hold 2008 Shareowners Meeting in Erie, PA

GE (NYSE: GE) announced today that it plans to hold its 2008 Annual Meeting of shareholder on April 23, 2008 in Erie, Pennsylvania. The meeting is expected to be held at the Erie Bayfront Convention Center.

GE Transportation produces the world’s most advanced locomotives in Erie, while the Company has 13 total sites around the state, including operations for GE Industrial, Infrastructure and Commercial Finance. Across Pennsylvania, GE employs approximately 9,000 people.

GE operates in more than 100 countries and employs more than 300,000 people worldwide.
