ErieBlogs.com Week in Review
‘Twas another busy week here at ErieBlogs.com.
Just a week to go until the holidays, are you ready? I’m not.
Want to start the new year off with a new job? The Target store in Erie is looking for an Executive Team Leader. Local employers - did you know you can post your jobs for free on our Job Board? It’s true - don’t pay a ton of money for 5 lines of text in the newspaper. We don’t charge by the word, in fact, we don’t charge at all. For us, it’s all about giving back and making Erie awesome.
Speaking of people who make Erie awesome, the Erie Community Foundation does an amazing amount of work funding agencies and groups in our area. These agencies serve thousands of people in our area. Erie Community Foundation President Michael Batchelor posting an Op-Ed piece this week talking about the agency. It’s a great read and if you missed it you can read it here.
With the forecast calling for snow this weekend, you can probably bet that the guys in our YouTube video of the week will be out there fishing. Here’s the YouTube video of the week.
Finally, we interviewed local author William Vitanyi. He’s written a hilarious book on office wellness. He’ll be signing copies of his book and holding a writing and publishing workshop Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Borders in Millcreek Mall Pavilion.
Now, for some quality posts from around the Erie blogs.
Local weather person Brian Neudorff wrote about his leaving Erie to work in Rochester, NY. His wife also talked about their leaving. They’ll be missed, though we have a couple more weeks to watch him on JET.
Jack Tirak posted his picks for the best media personalities in Erie in 2007. Lots of good discussion on the post.
Ron needs some help with his garage door.
James is starting a new website to encourage people to Bike to Work. He’s talked with the City of Erie, which is cool.
