ErieBlogs.com Week in Review
For many people, today was the last day of work before Christmas, and for some the last work day before 2008. Others will be working before, through and on the holidays this year.
My wife’s been consumed with holiday cleaning, so I followed her lead and did some holiday cleaning ‘round these parts. In our list of Erie blogs on the right hand side, there were many blogs that were no longer active or who had changed links. Hopefully, they should all now be up-to-date. I’ve also added several blogs who we’d added to our “Recently Updated” list, but hadn’t been added to the longer list of sites. I’ve also cleaned up with Recently Updated code. You’d think that’d be a pretty simple process, but it’s not. It’s been working much better lately, so you should be seeing less mismatched blog names and posts.
We also added several jobs to our Job Board this week, including some teaching positions at LECOM, a drafter at RailPower and an IT Tech at Gannon. Did I mention its free to post jobs?
For this week’s YouTube of the Week, we flashed back to 1984 and the McDowell Vocal Ensemble. A commenter asked if they used to show those choral shows on local TV, and I think I remember they were aired - can anyone confirm that?
There were so many great holiday posts this week around the local blogs that I didn’t think it was fair to just pick out one. Check out the BlogBrowser and see for yourself. We should, however, send a happy birthday to Eden.

I worked at WICU TV in the 80's and 90's and we always had high school Christams choirs come in and do a half hour show. We usually had 5 or so schools each year.
