Erie: A Great Place To Live Video

Posted by Mike on May 3, 2008

Dennis reported yesterday that Erie Management Group created a video about Erie. I tried all day to watch it, but their servers were getting hammered. I did manage to grab the video and post it to Google Video, which can handle the load.

EMG - I’d recommend putting a hi-res version of this video on as many video sharing sites as you can and really spread the word about Erie. You’ve done a great thing for this region and it deserves to be seen by as wide an audience as possible.

Wow! Thanks so much for posting that EMG video on erieblogs. I totally agree with your advice to EMG about posting it as universally as possible. I grew up here in Summit Township and have lived in downtown Erie for almost thirty years. In these trying times of bad news nationally [economic, political, social] and locally [crime, negativity, political inaction] it was so refreshing to see this video! Its easy to be down on Erie but this gives me hope. Thanks again.

Mike, Thanks so much for posting this. I was raised in Erie and left in 1997. My heart is still there and I feel no matter where I live I am always an Erieite. I really thank you for this blog and for keeping me connected to my home.

Here are a few links to the video.

This one might not have it but it sure said alot about Erie's future.

I spent much of my childhood in Erie and attended college at Behrend. I've been gone for years now but a part of my heart will always be in Erie. This is a wonderful video. Thanks so much.

I live in Gloucester, Massachusetts now which also has a significant maritime history but Erie will always be the homeport of my heart.
