Teri Rhodes was sentenced to 9 to 18 years in prison today. Ed Palattella reports in the Erie Times News that the sentence falls in the “aggravated” range of the Pennsylvania sentencing guidelines for voluntary manslaughter, which is a first-degree felony. A jury in Pittsburgh has found Judge Michael Joyce guilty of all charges. Joyce was prosecuted for mail fraud and money laundering for bilking insurance companies $440,000 from a 2001 car accident. Local Coverage: YourErie GoErie WICU WSEE

EMTA bus driver David Justka was recently fired after hitting a 16-year-old pedestrial while driving his bus. This was not Justka’s first incident driving his bus, it was his third involving a person. His driving record includes four crashes and many traffic violations.
