Governor Rendell announced $5 million in grants are being awarded to help more than 320 municipalities continue and expand local recycling programs. The recycling performance grants reward communities based on the amount of recyclable materials collected. Larger collection amounts mean larger grants for the recycling programs. An arrest warrant was issued by University of Iowa campus police for Abe Satterfield of Erie and another man for charges involving sexual abuse.
