The NBA Development League Erie BayHawks today announced they will host their first ever, home, pre-season game against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants at the Meadville Area Senior High School, November 20, in a 7 PM tip off. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the school’s stadium turf replacement fund.

In a surprising about-face, the Erie Zoning Board has approved the construction of the $370 million tires-to-energy plant by a vote to 3 to 2. Erie Renewable Energy plans to build at the site of the former International Paper plant. Here’s a report from YourErie:
