On December 4th, 2005, the Buckeye arrived at Erie Shipbuilding in Erie, PA under tow of the tug Olive L Moore. The tug was mated with the Buckeye becoming a new articulated tug/barge unit. If you’re down on the bayfront you can’t help but notice that there is a large ship (nearly 700 feet long) is docked at the Erie Shipbuilding facility.
